Passadiços do Paiva: Espiunca to Areinho Route

Trail experience from Espinuca

The trail follows the route described earlier in reverse. It begins with the longer portion of the hike over a slight incline in the boardwalk, before ending with a steep walk up the wooden staircases to the 516 Arouca suspension bridge access, then again down steep staircases to end at Areinho. At the end, taxis and jeeps are available to take you back to the Espinuca trailhead, where you started. We paid 16 euro for a jeep to take us to our starting trailhead.
